We kinda just became friends after that. She helped me out with a few things.

You know how she is with the flirting, so that was a thing. For a while it was just fun, right? I thought we were just playing around. This was back in May. And it lasted for months.

There were times when I really, really needed someone and she was always there for me. Even when I screwed up, she forgave me. It took me a while to realize how I felt about her because I guess I was kind of in denial, but when I did, a lot of things made sense.

But Ellie was still here, so there wasn't really anything I could do aside from try to be there for her like she was for me. I did tell her I loved her, though. So she'd know.

Anyway, then we all wound up here. Ellie left a little while before that, so...

I'm skipping details, but in the end, she told me she loved me too, and here we are.
