You're a lawyer, aren't you? I want to ask some questions about something having to do with the law. Or, I guess, the law that's probably around in your home, given we don't have much in the way of "the law" around here.
I'm asking on behalf of my friend. He's in some trouble. Apparently someone really dangerous from his home has arrived, someone who could be a danger to lots of people here. My friend won't tell me who this person is, but he seems pretty convinced that he ought to take on this new arrival all by himself, and he's the only person fit for the job to keep this person calm.
Since he won't go for help, I'm going on behalf of him, I guess, to ask what kind of options he has. Or might have. If he actually decided to do all of these dealings above the table.
Figure it out myself. Do it myself I guess, if the opportunity comes up. I can be pretty sneaky you know. And I've already died twice. It doesn't seem like that much a big deal anymore.
[The good thing about this past week is that Saul's been on the go almost nonstop, so all he has to do is grab his coat and leave the apartment. Whether he beats Rin to the front or not remains to be seen — he recognizes her name, but he's not sure he's seen her face before.
So there he is, looking a little obvious in his lawyerly suit and tie, waiting.]
[He may have beaten her, he may not. It takes a couple minutes until Rin is slipping up out of the crowd regardless. She's slight, at least at first glance, wiry under the slender shoulders and big eyes and neat braids. Rather than lawyerly she looks like a bit of a refugee in her coat and boots. But she does have a level stare.]
